2023 Women in Regulatory Affairs

Members of RKF attended the SSPI-WISE Mentorship Working Group 2023 International Women's Day Event at the Hogan Lovells NYC office on March 8, 2023. Panel host Ruth Pritchard-Kelly guided the conversation among the women leaders in space and satellite regulatory affairs. Keynote speakers included:

• Doreen Bogdan-Martin: The first woman Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
• Diane Howard: The first woman Director of Commercial Space Policy at the US National Space Council.
• Jessica Rosenworcel: The first woman Chair of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Each speaker shared stories from their exceptional careers in space and satellite regulatory affairs, including pivotal moments and challenges they overcame.
