TerreStar Networks Mobile Satellite System Capacity Management

RKF delivered the TerreStar GRM to TerreStar networks to manage the capacity of the TerreStar S-Band Mobile Satellite System (MSS). The GRM predicted the capacity and demand of the TerreStar network based on subscriber profiles, beamforming payload performance, terminal performance and other key system properties. The GRM integrates with the Hughes Network Systems GMR-3G Satellite Base Station Subsystem (S-BSS) and Ground-Based Beamforming Systems (GBBF) to deploy the configured resource plan onto the operational network.
